![]() As the team heads to finals their Exy games become more and more intense, keeping me quite literally on the edge of my seat as I rooted for the team I've come to care so deeply about. Plotlines escalate and converge - the relationship between the Foxes, their rivalry with the Ravens, and Neil's dangerous connections to his crime family past. ![]() This series has a lot of dark moments, and as we reach the finale things aren't exactly letting up. I usually try to draft a review as soon as I finish a book, but all I wrote for this was "Wow wow wow I would bleed for my Foxes" which I think sums up my feelings pretty well. They have stolen my heart and I don't think they're planning on giving it back. I liked the characters before, but now I love them all hopelessly. I really didn't expect to get so attached. It's an incredible conclusion to a series that I think gets better with each book, once again upping the stakes to give us drama, teamwork, and some pretty intense sports. ![]() I stayed up for FIVE HOURS finishing this because I couldn't bear to put it down. It was the best kind of finale, with everything from the previous books coming to a climax. ![]() ![]() I needn't have worried, this book is one hell of a last hurrah. I began this immediately after the triumph that was The Raven King, both excited to continue the story and not wanting my journey with the Foxes to end. ![]()
